Apollo Language Centre

Apollo Language Centre, a celebrated and award-winning English language school in Ireland, offers outstanding learning centres for young adults and adults in Dublin.

Apollo is the first language school in Ireland to be inducted into the StudyTravel Super Star Hall of Fame in 2023 after winning the ‘Star Junior Programme for under 18s’ award for five years in a row in 2018, 2019, 2020/2021, 2022 and again in 2023. The school also won the ‘Star New School’ Award in 2019 as well as winning in the ‘English Language School – Europe’ category three times in 2022, 2023 and 2024. The most memorable achievement for Apollo was winning in the ‘Leading Star’ category in 2024, becoming the second organisation in the world to win this prestigious award.

Apollo is ideally situated in Dublin’s city centre (Dublin 2), just a 10-minute walk from the bustling shopping areas of Grafton Street and St. Stephen’s Green. Located on Lad Lane, a quiet street off Baggot Street within Dublin’s central business district, the school is right next door to LinkedIn’s European Headquarters. Facilities

In early 2023, the school building underwent a full upgrade and renovation, transforming its three floors into a modern, welcoming educational space. Facilities include:

  • 15 spacious classrooms, each equipped with TVs, iPads, and audio-visual technology
  • a modern, spacious cafeteria with an outdoor area and self-service tea and coffee facilities
  • Quiet study areas, comfortable lounges with Wi-Fi throughout

Courses

Real World English

This course is designed to equip you with the skills needed to use English effectively in various “real-world” situations, building your confidence for everyday interactions in professional, social, and academic contexts. By considering your individual interests and assessing your strengths and areas for improvement, we tailor the content to create a personalized learning experience that keeps you engaged. Additionally, the course will support you in setting and achieving both short-term and long-term language goals, whether you aim to improve your conversational skills, enhance your writing, or prepare for a specific exam. By the end of the course, you will possess the tools and strategies necessary to communicate confidently and effectively in real-life situations.

 

Lessons: 20 hours / week (Morning) or 15 hours / week (Afternoon)
Levels: Elementary – Advanced
Max students: 15

Timetable: 9.00-13.15, Mon – Fri   or   13:45pm – 17:00, Mon- Fri

Homestay

Host family accommodation is offered in the suburbs of Dublin, approximately 45 minutes by public transport from school, in single bedrooms. Double and twin rooms are also available for couples or friends travelling together.

All host families are police vetted and carefully inspected by Apollo management to ensure their suitability to host their guests.

This popular choice of accommodation is ideal for adults aged 16+ who are interested in experiencing life with a typical Irish family and regularly practising their English. Irish people love to talk!

The Apollo Experience extends far beyond the classroom, offering students the chance to explore some of Ireland’s top attractions and engage in a vibrant social scene with the Apollo Social Programme, all guided by their enthusiastic Student Experience staff. The school’s social programme runs exclusively in the afternoons, so students are encouraged to choose morning courses to take full advantage of these activities.
